National Small Business Association Small Business Associations

The National Small Business Association (NSBA) is a national nonprofit membership organization founded in 1937, representing America's Small Business Companies and Entrepreneurs. Reaching more than 150,000 small businesses, NSBA is proud to be the first and oldest national small-business advocacy organization in the United States. NSBA protects and promotes small business at all levels of government through grassroots activities.

As an organization, we represent all sectors and industries of the U.S. economy from retail to trade to technology -- our members are as diverse as the economy which they fuel. NSBA advocates on their behalf before the Executive Branch, the Small Business Administration, Congress, and state regulatory and legislative bodies.

NSBA offers valueable benefits and resources for all of its members. No matter which facet of the small-business community you represent, NSBA members benefit greatly from the Association's vigorous lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill, the Small Business Administration (SBA), at various federal agencies and on state legislative and regulatory levels.

NSBA members also benefit from the association's vast expertise in spearheading vital industry initiatives in areas such as procurement, small business technology funding, and protecting the interests of America's small business importers and exporters.

Our nationwide network monitors small business related legislation on local, state and federal levels. We put our members face to face with influential lawmakers.
